Batay-Csorba Architects never fail to deliver cutting edge modern designs with impeccable detail. Batay-Csorba are an integrative architectural and design firm that was founded in LA by Andrew and Jodi Batay-Csorba before moving their home base to Toronto.
Before forming Batay-Csorba, Andrew and Jodi were independently recognized for dozens of world renowned projects across the globe. Between them, their work has been distinguished with several international awards, published in over 80 international publications, and exhibited across 24 international galleries.
Aside from a long list of prestigious worldwide recognitions and awards, Batay-Csorba set themselves apart from the pack with their holistic, all-encompassing approach to all that they do. Batay Csorba is committed to creating transformative spatial experiences through the exploration of site, typology, materiality, and movement. Their progressive work is dedicated to the construction of real spaces that engage people and atmosphere, and is based on the belief that architecture has a fundamental role in shaping how we experience the world. Their projects range from small scale installations, graphic visualization and multi-media design to architectural and interior design and large scale urban planning.
We are huge fans of their recent work on their famous double duplex in Toronto. Our founder Erik also had the pleasure of working alongside their team on their Core Towns project, both of which which were nominated for @Archdaily’s Building of the year award in 2018. We have no doubt these guys will continue reinvent the wheel when it comes to interior design and architecture in Canada, and we can’t wait to see what’s coming next!
